Season’s Greetings and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

The directors and staff of Dye & Co. Pty Ltd would like to wish everyone a very safe and Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2016.

In lieu of sending Christmas cards we have elected to make a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (“JDRF”).

A son of one of our directors Roger Grant was diagnosed with type one diabetes four years ago at the age of twelve.  Whilst it has been a life changing experience for the whole family, the work of JDRF feeds into medical advancements that promote a more seamless way of life for the diabetic.  Roger is always open to speaking to parents with type one children and sharing experiences to promote understanding and education.

Established in 1982, JDRF Australia is the leading global organisation funding type one diabetes research.  Its mission is to accelerate life changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat type one diabetes including its complications.  There are 2,000 people diagnosed with type one every year and the prevalence of type one is increasing at the rate of 3%p.a.
