Season’s Greetings and Cdkl5 Research
The directors and staff of Dye & Co. Pty Ltd would like to wish everyone a very safe and Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2019.
Following on from last year we have made a donation to the Epilepsy Foundation that will benefit CDKL5 Research in lieu of sending Christmas cards.
CDKL5 is a rare X linked genetic disorder that was first identified in 2004. CDKL5 is deficiency disorder that causes seizures, developmental delay and sever intellectual disability. Seizures typically commence in the first three months of birth. Other symptoms include problems with sleeping, feeding, development of gross motor skills and speech.
About 90% of children diagnosed with CDKL5 disorder are female. Scientists and doctors do not know what causes CDKL5 or the full spectrum of CDKL5 disorders. With continued research and awareness of the disorder researchers hope to build a greater understanding and search for a desperately needed cure.
Our offices will close at 11.00am on Friday 21 December 2018 and reopen at 9.00am on Monday 7 January 2019.
Should you have any urgent queries during the period the directors will continue to monitor their email and we would encourage you to send an email to our directors; nicholas@dyeco.com.au, shane@dyeco.com.au or roger@dyeco.com.au.
